PRINCIPAL SERIALS CATALOGER
The University of California, Irvine Libraries seek an energetic and
enthusiastic librarian for the position of Principal Serials Cataloger to
provide leadership and expertise in the cataloging of serial publications.
The position requires substantial knowledge of serials in all formats
including print and electronic, and the ability to research, assess, and
implement technology to promote successful serials management. Reporting
to the Head of the Cataloging Department, the Principal Serials Cataloger
manages and coordinates all serials cataloging and provides general
oversight for the acquisitions, processing and cataloging of U.S. Federal
Documents.The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience; the preferred appointment level is $44,736 - $73,356
(Associate Librarian I -Librarian II). Applicants who may qualify for the
Associate Librarian level are encouraged to apply.The UCI Libraries,
comprising the Langson Library, the Science Library, the Library Gateway
Study Center, and the Grunigen Medical Library, are committed to
