Acquisitions Librarian III --  Texas Woman's University -- Texas
 
Texas Woman's University Librarian III Acquisitions Librarian
Full-time position with primary responsibilities for the operation/
management of library acquisitions.Responsibilities include financial
accountability for all library resource material purchases, preparation
for departmental budgets and reports, formulating, recommending, and
implementing policies and procedures, supervision, training, and
evaluation of 4 staff, communicating with vendors and publishers, works in
close cooperation with library staff; set goals, prepare annual reports and
analyses, and closes the fiscal year. ALA accredited MLS required; five (5)
years of library acquisitions experience, previous supervisory
responsibilities, knowledge of current library practices for acquiring and
accessing resources is essential along with high level skills in library
technology, software, and using Microsoft Office products. See full
