Half-time, non-tenure track, available February 2008. Continuous recruitment. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2007 and will continue until the position is filled. Responsibilities: Provide professional librarian support to the reference, collection development and bibliographic instruction activities of the Asia Collection, particularly related to material about the Philippines. Librarian II: ALA accredited MLS. Excellent English-language oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with English-language research materials about the Philippines. Familiarity with one or more Philippine languages, as evidenced by coursework. Librarian III: All of the above and at least 3 years of post-MLS experience in a research library. 24 post-baccalaureate credits in an Asia-related field.
