Excellent Benefits Exciting opportunity to lead a technical team and provide strategic direction to the IT infrastructure of the largest university library system in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will supervise the Systems Administration team, overseeing systems support in a UNIX (Sun Solaris) / Windows environment, and overseeing hardware and operating systems installation and maintenance. The successful candidate will evaluate, test and recommend new hardware, software, and network technologies to better enable the library to serve its patrons and meet its goals. The position will also collaborate with other University IT offices to facilitate the integration of the Library's technology with those of the university. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Demonstrated management, supervisory and leadership skills. Demonstrated experience with systems administration.
