Director of Reeves Library --  Moravian College -- Pennsylvania
 
Director of the Reeves Library
Moravian College and Theological Seminary seek a creative and energetic
director for Reeves Library. The director must possess a strong commitment
to providing excellent library service to the College, the Seminary, and
the Comenius Center for Continuing, Professional and Graduate Study as
well as an understanding of the issues and challenges facing academic
libraries, especially as these relate to information literacy, assessment,
and electronic resources available both on and off campus. As a strong
advocate for and representative of the library in the larger campus
community, the director will maintain close contact with academic
departments and administrative offices to ensure that the library
continues to provide the resources to support excellence in teaching,
learning and scholarship. The director reports to the Vice President for
Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty.Qualifications include an
ALA-accredited MLS/MSIS degree, with a second Masters desirable, and
progressively responsible administrative experience in an academic
library, ideally in several areas of library service including electronic
resources. Superior communication, leadership and management skills are
