Catalog Librarian --  Regent University Law Library -- Virginia
 
Catalog Librarian
Regent University seeks experienced, enthusiastic and energetic individual
to serve the cataloging and intellectual access needs of its growing
academic law library. M.L.S. plus a minimum of five years experience in
bibliographic control in an academic, research or law library. Must enjoy
original cataloging. Extensive experience with OCLC, AACR2, USMARC
formats, LC classification and integrated library system, esp. III
Millennium, preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal, written and
communications skills, a high degree of computer literacy and current
awareness of new technologies. Regent University's mission is to provide
exemplary education, from a biblical perspective, leading to graduate and
undergraduate degrees for aspiring servant-leaders in pivotal professions,
and to be a leading center of Christian thought and action. Regent
University Law Library primarily serves the students, faculty and
administration of the School of Law, which is fully accredited by the
American Bar Association.This library faculty ranked position is available
immediately. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
