We are seeking a creative, technically savvy and enthusiastic customer service oriented Adult Services Librarian to join a staff committed to the delivery of innovative and traditional information and technology services.

 

Reference desk service, collection development, website management and public programming responsibilities will be assigned.  Applicant must have knowledge of current technology trends, website design, and familiarity with electronic resources and ILS systems. 

 

Expectations for the position include the ability to work independently, possess a strong commitment to teamwork, aptitude to learn new technologies quickly, and effective problem-solving skills.

Qualifications: MLS from an ALA accredited program.  NYS public library certification required. Starting salary $19.97+ /hr with excellent benefits.
