The Research Associate provides technical leadership in database management, indexing/abstracting, and secondary research. Primary duties include: § Manages a database system, including defining data needs, data structures, file organization, controlled vocabulary, user interface, etc. § Analyzes medical and other research studies and abstracts relevant data § Collaborates with management team to design effective search strategies and conducts searches utilizing web search engines and specialized databases The Research Associate should have a graduate degree in Library/Information Sciences or Medical/ Biological Sciences.
