Reference/Education Librarian --  University of Nebraska Medical Center --
Nebraska
 

The McGoogan Library of Medicine, University of Nebraska Medical Center,
has an opening for a Reference/Education Librarian. Within the
Reference department, the primary focus of this faculty position is to
instruct the library's academic, clinical, and consumer communities on
effective and productive use of available information resources and tools.
 Also will design, deliver, promote and evaluate library instruction
programs; and provide reference service in person, by telephone or
electronically, as well as perform literature searches.  Reports to the
Head of Reference, working in a collaborative team environment to carry
out the mission and responsibilities of this position.
Minimum requirement: ALA-accredited Masters degree in Library Science
or Masters degree ini Education, with one or more years of library or
teaching experience.  Minimum salary, $37,000/year.
