Reference Student Assistant 10+ hours per week 7.00 per hour. A great chance to get library work experience !The student reference position assists with reference desk duties by providing answers to directional and collection related questions, recording and responding to consumer and patient health information requests using specific sources and forwarding requests for literature searches to librarians. Good communication and telephone skills are necessary as is the ability to handle multiple communications simultaneously.  Basic computer skills and knowledge of database searching are and use of Microsoft Office software is desirable. Start training immediately. Flexible hours between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
