The Coordinator of Academic Technology provides tech. support, training,
enhancement, and development for all programs and members of Riverside
School of Health Careers in cooperation with Information Systems,
Riverside Health Systems. The coordinator maintains all aspects of an
online course management system (CMS) and acts as the primary resource
for consultation in instructional design, providing recommendations
regarding the use of media and technology in healthcare education.
Experience with technology in educational and academic settings
preferred.  System administration experience of online course management
system (CMS) or virtual learning environment (VLE) (Blackboard, WebCT,
Moodle, etc.) is required.  Must be proficient in Windows Operating
Systems and MS Office especially word processing, spreadsheets, and
presentation applications as well as website development, project
management, multimedia, print, and office productivity software.
Experience with computer hardware and peripherals an asset. The
coordinator acts as primary liaison for technologic support with the
school and provides supervision to the Systems Support Specialist.  The
coordinator collaborates with program directors, faculty, students, and
staff in projects to support student success; must possess strong
communication and presentation skills.  Bachelor's degree in
Communications, IS or Technology or a related area preferred.  The
ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required.  Must be able to type 40-45
wpm with 5 or less errors, and pass typing test in the HR Department at
RRMC (7:30am - 4:30pm, M-F hours of operation.)
