Bridwell Library houses theological research collections serving the Perkins School of Theology and Southern Methodist University. For more information about the library visit http://www.smu.edu/bridwell/. The Electronic Services Librarian will lead and promote Bridwell Library's efforts in electronic services. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Web design and development; supporting and promoting technology use in teaching, learning and research - Coordination of digital projects; overall implementation, supervision and basic trouble-shooting of the library's computer hardware, software, and electronic resources as well as user training. - Participation in public service REQUIRED: Master's degree from an ALA-accredited program (required) and an advanced degree in religion or theology (preferred). Demonstrated experience with web design and electronic resources in academic libraries. Knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and a strong commitment to public service. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
