If you are looking for a position for the fall, the Clark County School District is in desperate need of school librarians.  In order to even apply, you must have a teaching certificate and a school library media specialist certificate (or be able to get one) in Nevada.  Websites below will help you get more info.

There are several elementary positions in Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas, and two rural positions, one in Sandy Valley covering the elem., mid, and a brand new HS (very small schools).
Nevada does not have a state income tax, and the district pays all of your retirement costs.  There is a signing bonus this year, too.   Housing costs have been inflated for a few years, but are coming back down.   Clark County employs one librarian in every school--over 350 so far and more opening this fall.
