Gettysburg College Library invites applications for a service-oriented
librarian to head its newly formed Department of User Services and
Outreach. This position emerged as a top priority recommendation of the
Library's strategic planning initiative in early 2007

The Director of User Services and Outreach reports to the Library
Director and is part of the senior management team. The successful

Outreach is at the core of this position. This librarian will work
closely with library work groups dedicated to exhibits and events, as
well as marketing. S/he leads librarians and other campus constituents
