Special Collections Reference Archivist/Librarian-New Position
The University Library at Appalachian State University invites
applications from innovative and proactive individuals to join a library
seeking excellence. This newly created position of Reference
Archivist/Librarian will provide instructional, reference, and research
services for the Library's holdings of rare books, manuscripts, and
archival records which are part of the W.L. Eury Appalachian Collection,
the University Archives, the Stock Car Racing Collection, the diverse Rare
Books and Manuscript Collections.Annual evaluations and review for
promotion and tenure are based on performance in professional
responsibilities and a record of current involvement in scholarship and
