Assistant University Librarian --  Towson University -- Maryland
 

Library: Assistant University Librarian. Research, Instruction, and
Public Services. Towson University's Albert S. Cook Library seeks a
Librarian II or III to serve as Assistant University Librarian for
Research, Instruction, and Public Services, providing visionary leadership
and management of the research, reference, instruction, circulation,
reserves, stacks maintenance, and interlibrary loan programs of the
library. Qualifications: 1) MLS from an ALA-accredited institution; 2)
Five years of progressively responsible experience managing a public
service unit in an academic library; 3) Equivalent combination of
education and experience may be considered; 4) Must have requisite
requirements to be placed at level II or III appointment that include
professional activities, research, publications, and library teaching.
Compensation: salary is competitive. Towson University: founded in
