Provides leadership and long-range planning for the College's alumni relations program. Directs a staff responsible for a wide range of activities both on and off-campus, including reunions, regional associations, affinity networks, and continuing education. Senior Development Officer: The focus of the senior development officer is on prospective donors of $100,000 plus and involves the design and execution of cultivation and solicitation strategies. Position requires frequent weekend hours and extensive travel.Events Manager: Supports and guides staff and volunteers in conceiving, organizing and directing events on and off campus. Department of Athletics Assistant Athletic Trainer: This is a part-time, ten-month, fully benefited position, reporting to the Director of Sports Medicine who will work directly with the sports medicine staff in providing medical services for student-athletes participating in a broad-based athletic program consisting of 32 varsity and 17 junior varsity teams.Facilities Director of Facilities Planning and Construction: Will provide strategic and technical guidance for physical campus development to support the academic mission of the College. Manage and support a 7-person project management staff carrying out this mission; manage design, planning and construction processes for renovations and new projects undertaken by the department. In addition to annual renovation budgets in excess of $10 million, the College is in the midst of a $200 million new construction program. Director of Facilities Operations: The candidate for this position will manage the maintenance of buildings and grounds for the Williams College campus. The campus consists of approximately 2,300,000 square feet and 3000 acres of lawns, fields and forest. The property includes 102 academic, athletic and residential buildings and 95 faculty and staff housing units in 45 buildings. Office of Financial Aid Assistant Director: The Office of Financial Aid is instrumental in furthering Williams' commitment to diversity and need blind admission policies. The Assistant Director works as a member of the financial aid team counseling and advising parents and students about applicable aid options and eligibility. Investment Office (located in Boston, MA) Investment Officer: Marketable Securities: Will be responsible for the endowment's publicly traded securities and specialize in managing the external investment managers in this sector. This candidate will identify, recommend, select, and monitor outside investment managers who specialize in U.S. and non-U.S. long-only equities and fixed income, in addition to "Special Strategies," investment disciplines that are designed to be uncorrelated to the broad U.S. equity markets: i.e., absolute return, distressed debt, equity long/short funds and other strategies.Investment Officer: Non-Marketable Securities: Will be responsible for the non-marketable component of the endowment. This candidate will specialize in managing the external investment managers in this sector and will identify, recommend, oversee the selection process, and monitor outside investment managers who specialize in non-marketable securities.Multicultural Center Assistant Director of the Multicultural Center & Queer Life Coordinator: The Assistant Director will provide administrative, programmatic and educational leadership on LGBT issues within the broader multicultural context; work collaboratively with faculty, staff and students; and be an integral part of a team focused on strengthening multicultural services for the Williams College community.
