Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or Library Science
required (must be accredited by American Library Association). Position is
to serve primarily our Branch Campus in Freehold, NJ, and four regional
Higher Education Centers in Monmouth County, NJ (located approx 50 miles
south of NYC and 70 miles north of Philadelphia). Essential
responsibilities include planning and presenting research education
sessions for college courses and library workshops, providing reference
assistance to students, faculty, staff and community patrons, and keeping
resources and services current to the curriculum. Must be organized,
innovative and able to work a flexible schedule at multiple locations. We
seek a colleague who shares purr commitment to quality instruction,
information and technological literacy, collaborative relationships, and
who values service and diversity.
 
Compensation: Annual salary range for Sept 2007 is $46,092-$53,006.
Position is entry level and salary is commensurate with
qualifications/experience within the identified range. Faculty members
teaching extra courses or working additional hours during the academic
year and in the summer receive additional compensation. Position is
subject to budgetary funding.
