Albert S. Cook Library - Librarian --  Towson University -- Maryland
 

Library:  Albert S. Cook Library, University Archivist and Digital
Collections Librarian. Towson University's Albert S. Cook Library invites
applications for a Librarian I or II to serve as University Librarian and
Digital Collections Librarian. Responsible for all aspects of Towson
University Archives and special collections, this position has the unique
opportunity to create and establish the University's digital collection.
Qualifications: 1) MLS from ALA-accredited institution with courses in
archival management. 2) Two years of relevant experience in archives and in
managing digital projects. 3) An equivalent combination of education and
experience may be considered. Compensation: 1) This is a 12-month
library faculty position on the permanent status track.  2) Appointment
will be made at the rank of Librarian I for librarians with little or no
professional library experience, or at the rank of Librarian II for
librarians who have demonstrated effective professional knowledge and
skills above those expected of a Librarian I, with normally a minimum of 3
years of professional experience. Salary range for Librarian I is
$41,000-$49,000. Salary range for Librarian II is $45,000-$62,000. Towson
