Head of Technical Services at the Gelman Library Systems of The George
Washington University
The Head of Technical Services at Gelman Library is an innovative and
future-oriented library leader, overseeing the work of three newly-defined
functional units: Resource Description, Serials and Electronic Resources,
and Monographs Acquisitions. This management position creatively leverages
technology and staff to address the next generation of library tools and
methods particularly as applied to discovery and access, integrated
library systems, acquisition and cataloging of materials, and electronic
