Minimum qualifications include an ALA-accredited MLS (or recognized international equivalent) and an earned doctorate, with preference being given to candidates whose doctorate is in library/information science. A valid driver's license, the willingness to undertake extensive teaching-related travel, and the completion of a successful interview are required. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching skills and/or experience in cataloging, classification, or metadata.Priority will be given to applications received by September 11, 2007.
