Librarian

Description: Performs professional level work in coordinating the daily operation, function, and delivery of Library services to the public. Supervises full-time, part-time, and volunteer staff in their daily activities. Oversees the planning and implementation activities related to acquisitions, cataloging, classifying, processing, and circulation of library materials. Must have a hands-on practical working knowledge of all library operations. Facilitates and provides training to library staff in use/support of new technologies and applications. Assists in the preparation of library budgets for the revenues and expenditures.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Library or Information Science preferred. Two years of increasingly responsible related experience, or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Requires hands-on practical experience electronic and on-line library systems.
Salary: $17.66/HR - $23.84/HR.
