Digital Projects Librarian
Purdue University Calumet Library seeks an energetic, knowledgeable digital projects leader committed to student success, faculty achievement, and community engagement in an innovative, collaborative, fast-paced academic environment.

Responsibilities: Responsible for designing, facilitating, and implementing digital projects to enhance the learning environment. Work collaboratively to integrate scholarly information sources into online learning system and promote enhanced digital services for distance learners. Coordinate development of digital collections. Assess licensed products.

Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of digital library standards and technologies. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability; ability to administer virtual applications software.

Additional Qualifications: Required -- A.L.A.-accredited master’s degree or comparable academic credentials. Initiative; flexibility; effective written and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred – familiarity with higher education environment; experience with instructional design.

Salary and Benefits: This is a 12-month, full-time visiting faculty position, with funding for renewal dependent on performance. Salary is commensurate with qualifications. Benefits include vacation, sick, and personal leave. Appointment in July 2007.
