Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for recruiting for the School Media program
as well as placing, supervising and advising students already in the
school media internships program. In addition the incumbent will assist
in the education, assessment, and testing of school media students
through various activities. This position is also be responsible for
developing and participating in proposals, developing recruitment
materials for the specialist degree, conducting educational seminars and
other tasks related to the online graduate degree program in general and
the school media program in particular. This individual will also serve
as a liaison with the College of Education, state and national bodies
for evaluation of the school media program.   Concurrently to the duties
listed above the position will be responsible for teaching one related
course per semester, including the summer term. Applicants are expected
to have strong leadership and organizational skills and to travel
regularly for internship supervision, assessment, mentoring and advising
activities.   A Ph.D. and experience as a school media specialist is
preferred.

Requirements:

This position requires a Masters, Specialist, or Ph. D. degree in the
field of library science or a related field.

Salary Range:

Annual 12 month salary of $ 55,000.00
