Public Services Librarian -- Ohio Wesleyan University -- Ohio
Ohio Wesleyan UniversityPublic Services Librarian
Ohio Wesleyan University seeks a librarian to provide leadership for the
library instruction/information literacy program, serve as librarian
liaison to academic departments and programs as assigned (Education,
English, Journalism, and Theatre/Dance Departments), deliver collection
development support, provide reference service (including nights and
weekends), and perform other duties as assigned.Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution,
three years of professional library experience including instructional
experience in an academic library, the ability to provide collection
development, the ability to answer reference questions using print and
digital resources, and knowledge of emerging library technology.
Applicants must be team oriented, innovative, energetic, customer service
oriented and possess excellent written, oral, and interpersonal
skills.Minimum starting salary of $40,000, excellent fringe benefits
