Twelve-month tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include administration/coordination of technical service functions including: preparation/monitoring expenditure of the annual materials budget, management of collection development including the acquisition of print and electronic resources, coordination of electronic licensing and consortial agreements, preparation of statistical data/budget reports to facilitate planning, collection maintenance, serials/materials processing; regularly scheduled hours at reference (some evenings and weekends); supervision of 3 fte staff. Minimum Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS; expertise in technical services functions; strong commitment to service and teamwork; knowledge of emerging technologies and electronic information; demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues; effective written and oral communication skills. Preferred: Academic acquisitions experience; experience in management of electronic resources and licensing agreements. Salary: $45,000-49,000 depending upon qualifications and experience.
