> JOB POSTING: Assistant Librarian Position, GPS Library Girls Preparatory School is seeking an energetic, service-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Li brarian in the Holland Library. Responsibilities include collaboration with faculty, reference, information literacy instruction, cataloging and technical processing, maintenance of the periodical collection and circulation. The Assistant Librarian will also work closely with the head librarian in collection development and programming planning. Possession of an MLS or equivalent in library and information sciences from an ALA-accredited institution if preferred. The successful candidate must have experience working in school libraries preferably at the high school level, strong interpersonal and communication; skills, demonstrated skills in technology, as well as the ability to evaluate and implement new approaches in a rapidly changing library environment.
