INSTRUCTION LIBRARIAN GARDNER-WEBB UNIVERSITY seeks an Instruction Librarian to deliver group bibliographic instruction to students and faculty based at the main campus and remote centers; to create web tutorials and implement new technology for user education; to share reference desk service with other library faculty; and to participate in long-range planning. Reports to the Associate Dean of Libraries. Includes some in-state travel. Serves as a member of the GWU faculty, with attendant committee and other responsibilities. SALARY: Dependent upon experience and qualifications. SETTING: Dover Memorial Library has a staff of 14.5 (5 professionals, 2 paraprofessionals, 7.5 support staff) and more than 800,000 items, including 200,000+ book volumes. During the regular semester, we are open 85 hours per week.Gardner-Webb is SACS-accredited and coeducational, offering liberal arts and pre-professional programs.
