Responsibilities include coordinating library instruction activities, planning and implementing library instruction initiatives including collaborating with other campus entities to integrate information literacy into the curriculum across the disciplines; serving as resource person in information literacy and instructional methods; promoting innovation and best practices; developing print and electronic instruction materials including web pages and online tutorials; partnering with CSU and other consortia on instructional initiatives; teaching library instruction classes and workshops; monitoring and conducting program assessment and evaluations; and providing reference service. The Library Instruction Coordinator will join a team dedicated to collaboration and public service in a library with a strong commitment to the use of emerging technologies.
