SERIALS AND ELECTRONIC RESOURCES LIBRARIAN/ ASSISTANT HEAD OF RESOURCE
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTThe Green Library of Florida International
University is seeking an energetic, service- oriented Serials and
Electronic Resources Librarian who will also serve as the Assistant Head
of the Resource Development Department.Description: Assumes overall
responsibility and provides leadership for the acquisition and management
of serials in all formats (library resources budget, currently $5.6M). For

Required Qualifications: ALA-accredited Master's degree in Library or
Information Science; Experience with electronic resources and serials
management; experience with an integrated library management system (FIU
has Aleph); strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication
skills; strong computer and other technology skills; knowledge of current
issues and trends in serials management and scholarly
publishing.Rank/Salary: Non-tenured faculty status; $40,000-$55,000. This
