Information Services Librarian, Psychology Specialist (Assistant,
Associate, or Full Professsor) --  City University of New York Bernard M.
Baruch College -- New York
 

Library: Information Services Librarian - Psychology Specialist.
(Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). Provide information services at
a busy reference desk, via e-mail and online chat. Teach in an active
information literacy instruction program, including credit courses toward
a Minor in Information Studies.  Participate in the planning, development
and assessment of user services.  Serve as the liaison to the Psychology
Department by identifying and monitoring information needs, improving the
alignment of library collections and services with information needs,
providing timely explanations of collections and services, and engaging in
other faculty outreach activities. Evening and weekend work are required.
Graduate degree in librarianship from an ALA-accredited institution and an
advanced degree in Psychology or closely allied field required as well as
ability to meet requirements of a tenure-track appointment, including
research, publishing, and involvement in professional organizations.
Professional experience in an academic library providing reference service
and library instruction preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with
education, experience, and record of scholarship. Send cover letter
