Come invent the library of the future with us!  We are seeking four (4) professional librarians who are innovative, forward-thinking and service-oriented, who will enjoy collaborating with a team of talented staff, who will go the extra mile for patrons consistently, and who will thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, productive environment.

 

Librarian – Adult Services, two (2) vacancies

Librarian – Youth Services, one (1) vacancy

Starting Salary: $38,500-$48,100, based on experience

Full time, 37 hrs/wk, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications: MLS from an ALA accredited school and a minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience

Duties for both positions are reference and readers’ advisory service and outreach (traditional and digital);

additional youth services duties are literature-based programming and early childhood literacy efforts.

 

Web Applications Supervisor, new position

Starting Salary: $48,696-60,798, based on experience

Full time, 37 hrs/wk

Qualifications: MLS from an ALA accredited school; a minimum of two (2) years of experience in planning and contributing to web site content development; and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in usability testing.  Experience in the design and implementation of interactive web content and supervisory experience preferred.

Duties: reaching out to the public through emerging digital services such as blogs, RSS feeds, webfeeds of storytimes, podcasting and other dynamic web content. This position provides an opportunity to demonstrate leadership and creativity in delivering digital library services.
