You'll find a special subscription offer at http://chronicle.com/4free/?ej _________________________________________________________________ - The text of the job listing is below - Electronic Resources Management Librarian, Librarian II #27947 -- Johns Hopkins University -- Maryland Electronic Resources Management Librarian, Librarian II #27947 The Electronic Resources Management Librarian position offers an opportunity for an energetic, service oriented librarian with strong communications skills to provide e-resources and access data management expertise for the Acquisitions/Rapid Cataloging Unit of the Sheridan Libraries at the Johns Hopkins University. Reporting to the Acquisitions/Rapid Cataloging Coordinator, the position will work closely with team members to: · implement and manage the JHU libraries' Electronic Resource Management module; · respond to, investigate, and resolve performance issues related to access and maintenance of electronic resources; · provide access to electronic journals through support and maintenance of link resolver software (i.e., SFX); · develop consistency in the complex management of parallel technologies in the Libraries and assist with loading records into the ERM, SFX, ILS, Horizon, public interface tools; · assist with developing policy, writing procedures, designing and streamlining workflow; · assist in license negotiation and electronic resources ordering/renewals.
