Assistant Access Services Librarian/Assistant Professor --  Southeastern
Louisiana University -- Louisiana
 

Library: Southeastern Louisiana University seeks candidates for the
position of  Assistant Access Services Librarian in Sims Memorial Library.
 This tenure-track position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, is a great
opportunity for a flexible librarian willing to perform a variety of
duties.  Sims Library is a member of LOUIS, a statewide consortium of
academic libraries. Duties: Assists the Head of Access Services with a
variety of duties, including: interlibrary loan/document delivery,
web page design and maintenance, media and computer lab services,
circulation, and reserve services.  Acts as liaison to an academic
department.  Serves on Library and University committees.
Qualifications: minimum requirements: ALA-accredited MLS; library
experience; experience in web page design and editing; excellent oral and
written communication skills; ability to interact positively and
productively with library colleagues and with university students,
faculty, and staff.  Applicants must be committed to working with
diversity.  Candidates with the following: Experience in one or more
access services areas; experience with interlibrary loan systems;
experience with HTML style sheets; experience with electronic reserves are
