Library: Portland State University Library, Assistant University
Librarian for Public Services, Position Announcement. Portland State
University seeks an energetic and progressive professional for the
position of Assistant University Librarian for Public Services, a
full-time, 12-month, tenure-track position with the rank of Associate
Professor. This position provides leadership, vision, planning, budgeting,
assessment, and management for all public service functions within the
scope of the Portland State and Library policies, procedures, and
strategic plans. Required Qualifications: An ALA accredited MLS or
its equivalent; 8 years of increasingly responsible professional library
experience in an academic or research library in one or more areas
supervised; and 5 years of successful managerial and supervisory
experience equivalent to at least a department head level. Deadlines:
