Murray State University
*AGRICULTURE: Assistant Professor, Nine-month, tenure track position to
begin August 2007. Doctorate in agribusiness/agricultural economics
required. ABD with documented plan for completion by June 2008 will be
considered. General background and work/teaching experience within the
broad area of agribusiness/agricultural economics preferred. Demonstrated
skills in communications, human relations and leadership in the field of
agribusiness preferred. Will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in
agribusiness and agricultural economics and developing new courses that
will enhance the current Agribusiness curriculum. Public service and
research activities, undergraduate student advising, and the establishment
of a positive rapport with regional agribusiness firms. Participate in
research and scholarly activities and serve on committees. Take an active
role in conducting a quality graduate program. Provide service support to

full-time, tenure track position to begin August 2007. Doctorate in
criminal justice or a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate
credit hours in criminal justice by appointment date is required. Seeking
a generalist who is able to teach a variety of classes in our curriculum,
including theory, research methods, and a course in race/ethnicity/gender.
Duties include teaching, advising, research, publishing and service. Apply

Subject mater expertise is required in the following: graphic arts
technology, printing management, digital imaging, computer applications
for graphic communications, and other related graphic communications
subject areas. Will teach courses in the graphic communications program,
student advisement, student recruitment and retention, laboratory
maintenance, professional organization membership and involvement, and
program development. Research and writing commensurate to the position is

and 3D to include AutoCAD (Version 2007), Solid Works (2006) and
Pro-Engineer (Wildfire 3.0). Recent and relevant industrial experience in
design, CAD, product development, and dimensioning standards, is
preferred. Will teach courses in the technical drawing, computer aided
drafting and design, and 3D modeling. Laboratory maintenance, serving on
department committees, student advising, student recruitment and retention

Solidworks (version 2006) and Pro-Engineer Software (Wildfire 3.0);
parametric solid-modeling applications, engineering drafting standards,
and manufacturing processes. Will teach courses in the Engineering
Graphics and Design and the Manufacturing Technology program in the areas
of parametric 3D modeling, mechanical and engineering design standards,
materials and processes, plant layout, machine tool processes, and
computer numerical control. Student advising, student recruitment and

distance education faculty/students. Participates in statewide and
