Assistant Professor/Associate Professor, Library Science --  Eastern
Kentucky University -- Kentucky
 


Assistant Professor/Associate Professor, Library Science

  
This is a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor
level depending on qualifications and experience. The selected applicant
will teach undergraduate courses in one or more of the following
areas: children's literature, literature related to transcents,
and/or adolescent literature. Additional teaching at the graduate
level in one or more of the following areas is expected: instructional
media and technology, referencing and bibliographical services,
classification of cataloging, and/or organization and administration
of school media centers. Additional responsibilities include advising and
engaging in scholarly activities.
  
Requires a doctorate in Library Science or a related field. ABD will be
considered.  Experience working as a librarian and elementary/middle
grades classroom teaching experience are required. For a detailed job
