This is a faculty (tenure-track) position that reports to the Head of Documents/Serials. Duties include developing/supporting electronic access to federal and state government information, reference assistance, service desk scheduling/supervision, creationn of relevant user education materials, bibliographic instruction, and assisting with management of the federal depository, law, and serials collection. Essential Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS or MLIS. Strong commitment to user services; working knowledge of government information; excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including goodteaching and presentation skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment; an understanding of Web page and computer applications. Basic working knowledge of legal reference. Cataloging experience desirable.
