Faculty, Library and Information Science --  University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign -- Illinois
 

Library/Information Science:  University of Illinois at Urbana
Champaign, Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS)
Faculty Positions. GSLIS seeks outstanding full-time junior and/or
senior faculty to join our unique, top-ranked program. Preference will be
given to applicants who bring together more than one of the following:
1) methodologies including social science research methods, data analysis,
bibliometrics, data mining, statistical methods, historical methods; 2)
deep subject interests in more than one of the following: youth
services and literature, economics, law, ethics, history, health
informatics, archives, data curation, scientific and scholarly
communication, bibliography, organization of information. Successful
candidates will have the ability to teach at more than one level in an
I-School. Appointments made under this announcement will be effective
August 16, 2007, or as negotiated. To ensure full consideration,
applications must be received by January 26, 2007. Rank is open, and
salary is commensurate with experience. A Ph.D. degree or equivalent is
required though we will consider candidates who are close to completion of
