WA State University Libraries, Pullman campus, seeks candidates for mid-mngr with authority and responsibility for development and administration of comprehensive library instruction program. Provide leadership and planning to develop and maintain strong library instruction program. Supervises other unit librarians. Quals. Req.: ALA-accr. masters' degree in library/information science; at least 3 years' post-degree exp.; familiarity with current theory, practices, issues related to information literacy; successful supervisory, program or project management exp.; demonstrated substantive recent teaching/instruction exp.; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; exp. in the application of new instructional technologies; ability to work effectively in a collegial environment. Pref.: Exp. developing, coordinating, and promoting library instruction prgrms.; exp. or training in assessment; commitment to diversity; exp. working in academic libraries; exp. with distance education or online instruction.
