Library Administration -- University of Nevada at Las Vegas -- Nevada
Library Administration: The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Libraries
seeks a library leader and strong manager to serve as the Associate Dean.
This executive position works closely with the Dean and serves as deputy
for library operations and as Acting Dean in the absence of the Dean. The
Associate Dean is the Libraries' budget officer ($14 million annual, from
appropriated, revenue and gift sources) and directs administrative
services that include facilities management and planning, library
security, and purchasing and materials management, and is responsible for
the administration of all business services as they relate to library
operation and planning. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean of UNLV
Libraries and is a primary member of the Libraries senior management team,
contributing to strategic planning, program development and evaluation,
human resources decision processes, library policies and procedures, and
allocation of resources in support of the Libraries mission. For more
