The two Reference/Information Services Librarian I positions are at the Headquarters Library and at the Spring Lake Branch Library. The position at Headquarters Library is for a Business/Electronic Resources Librarian. Briefly, this position involves providing general reference assistance to customers, presenting electronic resources training sessions to library staffers, adult programming including coordinating and teaching public computer classes, as well as coordinating adult programming on consumer business topics; some collection development duties; as well as some virtual reference duties. The Spring Lake Branch position is located at this branch's Reference & Information Services Department and involves providing general reference assistance to customers, some adult programming including teaching computer classes to the public, teen programming, and collection development in both the teen circulating and adult reference collections. This position also has supervisory responsibility for three (3) part-time positions.
