Available:  October 1, 2006.  Twelve-month, full-time, tenure-track, faculty appointment. Academic rank based on relevant experience and education. Required: Earned master's degree from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent and undergraduate degree in a science or related discipline for appointment at the instructor rank (temporary). Additional master's degree in a science discipline required within four years for eligibility for tenure-track appointment. Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and general public.  Strongly Preferred: Master's degree in biological sciences or chemistry.  Preferred: Second master's degree in a science or related discipline required for appointment at the assistant professor rank. Experience in collection management and reference work at graduate research level. Professional experience teaching or providing library instruction. Professional experience in an academic library/research institution.

Appointment rank and competitive salary (beginning at $39,500/Instructor, $42,000/Assistant Professor) based on relevant experience and education.
