Position:  Student Library Assistant Position -- Preservation & Conservation 

Department:  Preservation, Hodges Library

Hours: 10-15 hours per week; within the hours of 8:00-4:00, preferably Monday-Thursday

Required Qualifications:  UT student (undergraduate or graduate).  Detail oriented.  Computer proficient.  Excellent communication skills.  Must be able to work independently.  Good manual dexterity.

Preferred:  Previous library work experience.  Interest in preservation or librarianship.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Book repair and conservation work
• Shelf preparation for new books and items returning from commercial bindery
• Other duties as assigned
