The Ga. Highlands College Library seeks a motivated reference/instruction librarian with strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will participate as an integral member of the library team of the Georgia Highlands College and Southern Polytechnic State University collaboration in Marietta. The position is a full-time 12 month non-tenure track faculty appointment. The position is located at the Marietta site of Georgia Highlands College (GHC) which is on the campus of Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU). The incumbent will work in a collaborative arrangement of the two libraries. The position involves providing reference service, providing bibliographic instruction, assisting in collection development, electronic ordering of books, and providing circulation service including GIL Express with the Galileo Interconnected Libraries (GIL) system using Endeavor’s Voyager software. The Marietta site of Georgia Highlands College is located on the campus of Southern Polytechnic State University. The incumbent's office will be housed in the Southern Polytechnic State University Library and the incumbent will work collaboratively with the staff of the Southern Polytechnic State University Library staff serving both the students of GHC and SPSU.
