Position Vacancy--Children's and Outreach Services Manager New Albany-Floyd Count Public Library The New Albany-Floyd County (IN) Public Library is seeking a Children's and Outreach Services Manager who possesses excellent supervisory and organizational skills and has the ability to promote teamwork throughout the library. The Children's and Outreach Services Manager plans, organizes, and supervises the activities of Children's and Outreach Services. They are responsible for developing and overseeing children's programming; working the children's reference desk, and developing the children's collection. The Children's and Outreach Services Manager oversees and evaluates the bookmobile service. This position requires a Master's Degree in Library Science plus three years of experience in a professional library position with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. Must be eligible for state certification, Librarian II, proficient in various computer software applications, and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
