CAPITAL CITY PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL Position Available: Librarian/Media Specialist Capital City Public Charter School is seeking a talented Library/Media Specialist to oversee the organization and development of the library in our small Pre-K-8th grade school. The Librarian/Media Specialist maintains the library environment, identifies resources to support the curriculum, fosters a school-wide love of books and literacy, and supports students in developing age appropriate research, media, and library skills. The Librarian/Media Specialist works closely with classroom teachers in identifying and developing curriculum materials and addressing the individual needs of students. Candidates must have a degree in library science or a related field. Candidates must possess a deep knowledge of children’s literature and of library organization. Candidates should have strong collaboration skills and experience working with a variety of age groups in diverse and inclusive settings.
