Cross posted from LM_Net Shorewood High School in Shoreline, WA (just north of Seattle) has an opening for a .5 high school librarian. This is a legitimate opening and is not being filled by an insider! Shorewood is a large suburban school with a great majority of college-bound students. (Our principal jokingly refers to us as "Pleasantville.") We have a great staff, wonderful kids, and a really supportive community. This will be an exciting year, since all students will receive their own Apple laptops. (The library staff is not responsible for the distribution or maintenance; we have a two full-time tech staff for that, thank God!) We hope to fill this ASAP.
