The University of South Alabama seeks an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and technologically-adept librarian to establish, manage, and promote library resources and services for the new Learning Resources Center in the Mitchell College of Business. This is an Assistant Librarian, twelve-month, tenure accruing libraries faculty position that reports directly to the Coordinator of Public Services in the University Library.

LOCATION:
The $2.4 million, 10,000-square-foot Learning Resources Center will house an innovative library, a computer lab, group study rooms, the John B. Saint Financial Analysis Center and faculty offices for the Department of Accounting. The Mitchell College of Business offers an undergraduate degree program with majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing. At the graduate level, the MBA and the Master of Accounting degrees are offered through an evening program. All academic programs are accredited by AACSB International. The University of South Alabama is located in Mobile, the oldest city in Alabama, which is renowned for its azaleas, Mardi Gras activities, proximity to Gulf beaches and Southern hospitality.
