STUDENT LIBRARY ASSISTANTS
UT COLLEGE OF LAW LIBRARY CIRCULATION

The Law Library Circulation Department needs several student assistants to work both at the Circulation Desk and shelving library material.


Duties include:
•        Assisting patrons at the Circulation Desk (evening and weekend shifts)
•        Shelving books
•        Keeping Library Collection in good order and tidy
•        Maintaining copiers, printers, and other machinery

Requirements:

•        Punctuality and reliability are required.
•        Must be a currently enrolled UTK student.
•        Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to learn Law Library collection
•        Must have a genuine desire to provide quality services for library patrons.
•        Must be able to take direction from supervisor, reference librarians and other staff, and also work independently at times.

Hours: will vary. Students are needed for morning, day, evening, night and weekend shifts. May work as few as 10 hours or as many as 20, depending on scheduling needs. Schedules vary each semester.

Pay: $6.75 per hour.
